About this event

Skip the name-tag mixer. Players Wanted is a free three-bar crawl through the NoHo Arts District where every stop runs a different social game designed to break the awkwardness, so you meet people by playing with them instead of pitching at them. Points carry across the night and the top scorers win prizes. Check us out https://mapchat.social 4:15 to 5:15pm: GRANVILLE, 11136 Magnolia Blvd A big, bi-level industrial-modern spot right at Magnolia and Lankershim. Settle in with craft cocktails and shareable plates while we warm up. 5:15pm: Where the Creatures Sleep at Shadow Grove (5249 Lankershim). Happy hour til 6. Supposed to be a storybook kind of a spot. 6:15pm: The Cantiki (11100 Magnolia). Happy hour til 6:30. Great happy hour Tiki specials here! 7:15pm: Brews Brothers (5140 Lankershim), right as Tech is a Joke kicks off at 7:30: live stand-up from engineers, founders and data scientists roasting the industry they work in. Presented by ThoughtGPS (https://thoughtgps.com/) Join at any stop, just note your entry point when you RSVP so a game is ready for you. Free to join, drinks are on you. 21+. Presented by MapChat Social (mapchat.social) as part of LA Tech Week.
