Integrated Logistics Support Engineer

About the Role

Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems is looking for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer Level 4 to work with the Advanced Weapons team in Northridge, CA. This position supports a secured missile weapon system and requires on-site work on a 9/80 schedule; telework is not available. Salary: $142,200–$213,400/yr. Travel: approximately 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform ILS engineering activities from concept and proposal phases through development, test, production, and post-production support
• Serve as Product Support/Sustainability point of contact (POC) for assigned programs
• Support logistics design influence efforts and activities to meet system performance requirements
• Analyze and interpret technical data (drawings, manuals, specifications) to develop technical and logistics data
• Create/update reports such as task analysis, maintenance plans, and provisioning requirements
• Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
• Develop maintenance concepts to ensure affordable and effective mission readiness
• Develop/execute plans for Technical Publications and training materials
• Conduct logistics analysis using engineering background, analytical skills, and industry tools
• Perform Human Factors analysis on maintenance and operation activities
• Develop/update Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation (PHS&T) and Demilitarization plans

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM from an accredited university with 8 years of engineering experience, or 6 years with a Master's degree
• Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Reliability, and related areas
