About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join the AI Content and Media Product team within NBCUniversal's Operations & Technology. This hands-on senior individual contributor role sits at the intersection of machine learning systems, large-scale media workflows, metadata standards, and enterprise integrations. Salary: $110,000–$145,000/yr.
Responsibilities
Product Development
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, and business stakeholders to scope, develop, and deliver GenAI-powered product capabilities
- Develop deep understanding of stakeholder workflows and define clear, actionable product requirements and user stories
- Own one or more defined product areas, driving work from discovery through delivery and iteration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and maintain an outcome-based roadmap grounded in customer insights, technical constraints, and business priorities
- Conduct product testing to validate functionality, accuracy, and performance
Execution & Stakeholder Engagement
- Drive execution of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with near- and mid-term priorities
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors across the GenAI use case lifecycle
- Prepare and present product updates, documentation, metrics, and recommendations to leadership
- Evaluate tradeoffs between model quality, performance, cost, and latency
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed on emerging AI, LLM, and machine learning technologies
- Contribute to identifying reusable GenAI patterns and capabilities
- Provide mentorship to junior Product Managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in product management or related technical roles
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical PM on complex, technology-driven products
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences
