Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner, NICU Per Diem

About the role

Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner – NICU, Per Diem at Adventist Health Glendale. Provides respiratory therapy services to neonatal ICU patients on a per diem basis.

What you'll do

• Deliver respiratory care to NICU patients including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care
• Assess and monitor neonatal patients for respiratory status changes
• Collaborate with neonatologists and the NICU team on respiratory care plans
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with resuscitations
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record

Requirements

• Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• RRT credential preferred
• NICU or neonatal respiratory therapy experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
