About the Role
Amazon Leo's Optical Inter-Satellite Link (OISL) team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to build the software systems controlling next-generation satellite optical communications.
What You'll Do
- Develop control and monitoring software for OISL hardware
- Build APIs and services for satellite communication management
- Write robust, tested code in C++ or Python
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and integration teams
- Participate in design reviews and on-call rotation
Requirements
- 3+ years software development experience
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python
- Experience with real-time or embedded systems a plus
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
Pay & Benefits
$143,700–$194,400/yr
