About the Role
Provides leadership and resources to manage physical plant functions, construction, daily operations, and special projects in support of Citywalk, CityWalk O&O, and Parking Operations at Universal Studios Hollywood.
What You'll Do
- Manage and standardize Maintenance department operations, allocating resources for efficiency
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of physical plant assets, equipment, utilities, grounds, and emergency systems
- Manage union hourly technicians and the CityWalk Technical Services management team
- Oversee the Maximo Work Order process and ensure Preventive Maintenance/Compliance items are completed
- Uphold collective bargaining agreements, partnering with HR and Labor Relations
- Develop and execute Annual Operating and Capital Plans
- Manage construction vendor pre-qualification and site logistics
Requirements
- 10+ years in facilities/plant management, with construction/project management experience
- Associate degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field
- Ability to work mornings/evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Working knowledge of fire/life safety systems, electrical, HVAC, water treatment, and plumbing
