Sterile Processing Technician II (Woodland Hills - Full Time Night)

About the role

Decontaminates, cleans, packages, sterilizes, stores, and distributes medical/surgical equipment and supplies in accordance with CDC, OSHA, EPA, AAMI, and other regulatory guidelines, at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills.

What you'll do

• Fill orders from requesting departments and make equipment rounds
• Clean and validate functionality of returned equipment per manufacturer recommendations
• Inventory and restock supplies and specialty carts (isolation, latex, crash carts, etc.)
• Disassemble, clean, and decontaminate surgical instruments, including ultrasonic cleaning
• Assemble, inspect, test, wrap, and date OR sets including specialty sets
• Operate sterile processing equipment: steam sterilizers, plasma sterilizers, automated endoscope reprocessors, and more
• Use instrument and equipment tracking systems and maintain sterilizer records
• Prepare OR case carts according to preference cards for surgical procedures
