Studio Security Guard (Swing, Graveyard, and Weekends)

About the role

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for Studio Security Guards — an on-call, uniformed, unarmed officer role that may be assigned to stage areas, office buildings, and other WBD on- and off-lot facilities and events. Schedule includes swing, graveyard, and weekend shifts.

What you'll do

• Protect and serve all employees and visitors and safeguard Company property.
• May be assigned to studio gates, office buildings, or on/off-lot events, parties, premieres, screenings, Content Protection, Executive Protection and Audience shows.
• Issue visitor passes at studio gates and buildings; conduct vehicle and personal item searches and metal detection; direct and assist visitors.
• Monitor and direct on-lot pedestrian and vehicle traffic; patrol and monitor Company premises.
• Maintain a log of security activities; observe and report unusual and suspect activities; prepare written incident reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Security Officer experience in a corporate/office environment.
• Guard Card required.
• Valid California Driver's License and a record of safe driving with at least 6 months of driving history.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule (minimum 3 days a week, including one weekend day).
• Must join union (Studio Security and Fire Association) and adhere to union requirements and fees.
• May be required to drive company vehicles (golf carts, SUVs, vans, pick-up trucks, and in some cases motorcycles) between facilities.
• Physical exertion including riding a bike, walking/standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting/maneuvering items up to 50+ lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; computer skills and Microsoft Office experience required.

Schedule

On-call; minimum 3 days a week, including at least one Saturday or Sunday; swing, graveyard, and weekend shifts.

Pay Rate: $20.91 per hour, plus potential bonuses, incentives, and a full benefits package (health insurance, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and PTO).
