Surgical Technician Full Time Day

About the Role

Surgical Technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA — full-time, 8-hour Day shifts. Holy Cross is a four-time Magnet®-designated hospital, one of just four in California to hold that status.

What You'll Do

• Perform technical duties to scrub in surgery; prepare operating rooms
• Assist the surgeon during operations within scope of practice
• Assist the surgical team during operative procedures
• Clean and prepare rooms between procedures, maintaining aseptic technique
• Cover for other Surgical Techs on break

Requirements

• National Certified Surgical Technologist certification (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS — American Heart Association (upon hire)
• California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire)
• 2 years of scrub experience in an advanced specialty (cardiovascular, orthopedics, etc.)
