CNA - Telemetry (CITU), Day Shift, Full Time

About the role

Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital with two urgent cares, home care services, comprehensive cardiology care and more, serves the San Fernando Valley and holds Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is on the Telemetry unit (CITU), day shift, full time. Provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN).

What you'll do

• Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living, including nutrition/hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints and restorative care.
• Takes vital signs including pulse and blood pressure.
• Helps patients with basic needs — bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Performs clerical duties including routing patient reports; keeps the unit running smoothly.
• Provides assessment data to the certified nurse within scope of practice.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required.
• Phlebotomy Certification: Preferred.
• Audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate: Preferred.

Schedule

Day shift, full time.
