About the Role

Sr. ED Technician, Evening Shift, Part Time at Adventist Health Glendale — a Magnet-designated, 515-bed hospital between Burbank and Pasadena. Assists RNs and MD/Providers with assessments, examinations, and treatments in the Emergency Department, and performs Unit Secretary and triage tech functions.

What You'll Do

• Assist the RN and physician with assessments, examinations, and treatments; document vital signs, bedside care, and observations
• Maintain equipment/supply readiness; provide patient and family education
• Mentor and train staff on technical skills within scope of practice
• Function as triage tech and Unit Secretary as needed; record and collect specimens

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required
• CPR/BLS certification required; EMT or NEMT certification required (department-specific)
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or TEAM/TEAM-A certification required (department-specific)

Preferred: Associate's/Technical degree, 2 years' technical experience, EMT/CNA/CMA/Paramedic certification, Phlebotomy Technician license.
