About the Role
Adventist Health (Glendale) is looking for a Manager, Quality & Patient Safety to oversee daily operations of quality, safety, and performance-improvement programs, supervising Patient Safety and Performance Improvement staff.
What You'll Do
- Supervise Quality/PI and patient safety staff; align local activities with system priorities
- Support patient-safety initiatives including root cause analyses and corrective-action follow-up
- Maintain continuous readiness for Joint Commission, CMS, CDPH, and other regulatory surveys
- Lead improvement projects using Lean/performance-improvement methodologies to reduce harm and improve outcomes
- Ensure timely collection, validation, and reporting of quality/safety/regulatory metrics to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of healthcare experience; 2 years in quality/patient safety/PI; 2 years of leadership experience in acute care
- CPHQ or CPPS certification required within two years of hire; Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred
