About the Role

Adventist Health Glendale — a 515-bed, Magnet-designated hospital between Burbank and Pasadena — is hiring a Patient Access Scheduling Representative, Per Diem, variable shift.

What You'll Do

• Schedule patients for facility services (ancillary, surgical, medical testing/procedures/admissions) based on physician orders
• Take telephone requests for authorizations; prepare referral requests and collect patient data
• Maintain electronic health record (EHR) referral documentation and track patient compliance
• Confirm correct patient, service/exam, and required authorizations are in place

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred
• Associate's/Technical degree in business or equivalent experience preferred
