RN - MedSurg Full-time, Day Shift

About the role

Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital serving the San Fernando Valley with Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is hiring a Registered Nurse for MedSurg, full-time, day shift. Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines.

What you'll do

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develops and implements a plan of care, coordinating delivery and employing strategies to promote health and safety.
• Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred.
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift.
