About the role
Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital serving the San Fernando Valley with Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit (CITU), full time, night shift. Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process, supervising assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines.
What you'll do
- Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes; implements the plan and coordinates care delivery.
- Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes and identifies outcomes for the patient's situation.
- Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care.
- Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred.
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required.
Schedule
Full time, night shift.
