About the Role
The Walt Disney Studios Content Security organization secures and protects all creative content throughout the production lifecycle. This role reports to the Director, Content Security Engineering, and works Monday–Thursday in the Glendale, CA office (Fridays remote).
What You'll Do
- Lead security integration of complex systems across platforms and cloud-native tools
- Serve as technical partner for high-risk/high-visibility assessments across AppSec, CloudSec, and media infrastructure
- Advise secure workflows for remote editing, cloud post-production, and asset delivery
- Drive technical testing for tooling, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Mentor engineers and contribute to threat modeling for Studio-wide initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years in cybersecurity, software engineering, or infrastructure with architecture/assessment experience
- Background in product security, pentest, red/blue team, or cloud security engineering
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Entertainment/media industry experience
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications
- Experience with DRM, watermarking, encryption, or streaming security
Schedule
Hybrid — Monday–Thursday in Glendale, CA; remote Fridays.
Pay
$141,900–$170,000/yr
